the 20th century - the Panama Canal. As both an engineering
marvel and one of the world's most vital trade routes, no
vacation comes close to the dramatic scope of an epic journey
through the Panama Canal. In
addition to the Canal itself, our journey will take us along the
rugged Pacific West Coast, from Seattle down through Southern
California and along the pristine beaches of the Mexican Riviera. We
will then be treated to the fascinating Latin & Spanish cultures of
Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica before transiting the full
length of the Panama Canal. Once we reach the Atlantic it's on to
Columbia, and then we'll venture into the sun-drenched seas of the
Caribbean to visit the exotic San Blas Islands, Aruba, the Dominican
Republic and Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas before coming to a
glorious end in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
 Our transportation & home away from
home will be Holland America Line's glorious Westerdam. Offering a
